Counting the days...
Hello all. If you are reading this you have found my blog page. I will be using this site to keep updated reports of my Ireland adventure! Thanks to my beautiful and oh-so-smart sister Laura, I am able to use this really cool site! Once I get to Ireland, I intend on posting blogs, pictures, and videos to this page so you can keep up with me! Feel free to make comments to me, I would love to hear from you!
A huge breakthrough in the stress of leaving was taken off of my shoulders today as I received my passport and was finally able to apply for my visa! Yay! For those who have been praying for this, thank you. It helped!
I am very excited about leaving in just a few short weeks. As the time grows closer I find myself getting more and more sentimental. Just tonight I sat and watched my sweet niece sleep and thought how much I was going to miss getting to see everyone! But, there is no doubt in my mind that this is what I am supposed to be doing with my life. Never have I been so sure about anything. I am so blessed to have this feeling. It serves as a buffer for the sadness that I feel about leaving.
Welcome to my blog and check back for a new post soon!

Wow - I can't believe you're going to be leaving in such a short time, sweetie! But, I agree with you - this is so exactly what you are supposed to be doing, and knowing what a wonderful experience you're going to have, and how many lives you're going to change, makes it easier to think of missing you for a whole year :( I'm SO proud of you.
By the way, your niece just gave me a pouty face, which means (since I can read her mind) "I miss my Auntie M and can't wait to see her in a few weeks!"
I love you!
Hey there! I am so excited to read all about your trip! It is going to be such an amazing journey!
I know we were not able to spend a lot of time together and we did not really get to know one another, but I am excited to see where you go in your life. You seem to have an amazing drive inside you that will take you amazing places!
Melissa:
I am so excited for you - you are getting to live a dream that not many young people (or old ones for that matter) get to do. I can't wait to see video and pictures, and read all about your adventures in your journals - LOL!
And yes, your niece is truly beautiful!
Be safe,
Melody
Hey, Girlfriend!
I am so excited for you and can't wait to watch for news from you. The Irish will be truly lucky to have you, and I pray the "Luck o' the Irish" will follow you wherever you go! Go with God's peace and grace and know that you are making a difference in this old world! I am so very proud of you!
Melissa, we are so very proud that you are our niece...great. Not only do you have a wonderful outlook on life, but you are working hard toward following God's will, which is sometimes hard for all of us to do. Our prayers will be with you daily. Love, Chick en Juanita
